From autumn, we are expanding our range of courses in the field of information and cyber security to include the PECB NIS 2 Lead Implementer and PECB Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) courses. The courses will be available in English from November 2023, and we plan to launch the Czech version at the beginning of 2024.
Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
The implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001 or a cyber security programme according to NIS2 implies the creation of specific security functions/roles. One of them is the information security manager (CISO).
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) training course is designed for information security managers to gain new knowledge, skills and strategies needed to effectively lead an information security program and ensure adequate information security in their organisation.

NIS 2 Lead Implementer
With effect from 16 January 2023, NIS 2 has been introduced to enhance the security of networks and information systems across the European Union. Among other things, this directive defines general cybersecurity requirements for critical infrastructure operators and essential service providers and mandates the implementation of cybersecurity measures and incident reporting.
NIS2 defines cybersecurity measures at a general level. The course provides guidance on establishing, implementing, operating and improving a cybersecurity program in accordance with the NIS2 directive. This PECB course does not take into account specific national legislation. KRUCEK trainers will take into account national legislation in their explanations.
