We are pleased to have added the updated PECB ISO 21502 Lead Project Manager course to our offering.
ISO 21502 has replaced the previous ISO 21500:2012 standard. The reasonably extensive changes that have taken ISO 21502 to a whole new level include the following:
- The concept of project management has been expanded to include the sponsoring organisation’s activities related to project oversight and management
- Information has been added on how projects can deliver results and enable benefits to be realised
- Consideration of the organisational context of projects has been added
- Descriptions of other project roles and responsibilities have been added
- New topics, such as creating a project environment that is conducive to success, project life cycles, decision points and gateways, and other project practices, such as benefits management and change management, have been added to reflect current practices in project management
- Pre- and post-project activities have been added
- The format has been changed from process to practical and descriptive
The ISO 21502 Lead Project Manager training course helps candidates develop the necessary competencies to initiate, plan, monitor, lead, control and close a project based on the ISO 21502 guidelines.
